On November 17, 2019, New Hope United Methodist Church will be celebrating their 131st Church Anniversary with an 11 AM morning service, as well as a 3 PM afternoon service. New Hope pastor Robert E. ‘Pete” Barrett will serve as morning service speaker, while the 3:00 pm Anniversary speaker will be the Rev. Bobby Church, pastor of Marietta Street United Methodist Church in Cedartown, Georgia. Dinner will be served immediately following morning service up to 2:50 PM in the New Hope Dining Hall. The church is located at 241 Martin Street in Summerville. Rev. Robert E. “Pete” Barrett and the New Hope Church family cordially invite the public to attend.

Berea Church of Christ invites everyone to a two part series called “Ask Your Preacher” presented by Robby Eversole, Nov. 7-8, at 6:00P.M.(Central Time).
The church building is located on Co. Rd. 99 near Broomtown, Alabama.

Trion United Methodist Church will have their Brunswick Stew available Saturday, November 2.  It is $7.00 per quart.  The stew should be ready around 10:30 a.m.  You may pick the stew up in the fellowship hall before 1:00 p.m.  We usually sell out so the stew is sold on a first come first served basis.

Trunk A Treat will be Saturday October 26th at North Summerville Baptist Church. There will be candy, free hot dogs with all the fixins, hay rides and more. The time is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the church parking lot. Church is located at 119 Maplewood Drive Summerville. Pastor Sammy Barrett and the congregation invite everyone to a this time of fun and fellowship.

A women’s conference will be held this Friday, October 25th at 6 PM at Pennville First Baptist Church.  Becky Plemmons will be the guest speaker.  Refreshments will be served afterwards.  All ladies are invited to attend.

Trion Heights Baptist Church will have their annual “Candy Trail” coming up Thursday, October 31 from 6 PM – 8 PM.
