Summerville First United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Washington and Congress Streets, will have a yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 8, 8:00-1:00, in the fellowship hall of the church. A wide variety of household and decorative items, baby stroller, toys, dining table, cookbooks, purses, bedding, etc. will be priced to sell. All proceeds will benefit church’s Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry.

Homecoming will be Sunday, September the 9th at New Bethel Baptist Church located above Trion beginning at 10:30. Guest speaker will be Brother Grant Hardeman and his wife will be singing.
