Pennville First Baptist Church will have a “Back to School Bash” coming up July 21st from 4-7 PM. There will be free school supplies, horseshoes, corn-hole, a water slide and hot dogs with all the trimmings and more fun things to do. The event will be held rain or shine.
Lyerly United Methodist is looking for all types of vendors for its 10th Annual Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show and Craft Festival, to be held August 11th, from 8-3 at Dowdy Park in Summerville. Booth rental is $20. Joseph Crowe will be playing music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and there will be a 50/50 drawing, cake walk and door prizes. VBS will be held at Redemption Worship Center on First Street in Summerville coming up on Saturday, July 7th. This year the theme is God’s Battle Royale you don’t want to miss it. Age groups 3-5, 6-9, 10-12. Early registration starts at 9:20 and we will start at 10 am. They will have snacks and lunch for your child. Pentecostal Power Ministries on Lyerly Dam Road will be having a singing this Sunday morning with the Wilbanks Family as the guest singers. The church will be selling plates after the service. Everyone is invited to attend.
Trevor Thomas “Mr. Drama” will be at the Welcome Hill Baptist Church on July 14th at 7 PM. There will be a Hot-dog Dinner in the fellowship hall starting at 6 PM. Dinner and show for $5.00. All proceeds go to the church Youth program.
