Pentecostal Power Ministries in Lyerly, will have Vacation Bible School June 18-22 from 6 PM until 8 PM nightly. All children ages 2-16 are welcome to attend. Snacks will be served each evening. The church is located on Lyerly Dam Road in Lyerly and all are welcome to attend.
Four Mile Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 12 – June 15 from 6 PM. to 8:30 PM for ages 4-11. Children will have Bible-learning experiences, team building games, and Bible songs. For details, call Four Mile Baptist Church at 706-857-2376.
Central Avenue Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 4-8, from 6 PM until 8:30 PM each evening. VBS will begin with a pep rally, kids will gather at the field house where they will be equipped to dig deep into God’s Word. Each day kids will make crafts, play fun games, enjoy snacks and sing songs and learn about missions. Children ages Pre-K through 12th grade are invited.

Lyerly First Baptist Church and Lyerly United Methodist Church will hold a joint Vacation Bible School, Monday June 11 – Friday June 15. VBS will be from 6 PM – 8 PM. Join both churches for a VBS Kick Off event on Saturday, June 9th from 1 to 3 PM at Lyerly First Baptist Church located at 265 Tennessee Avenue in Lyerly. There will be games, ice cream and lots of fun!
On June 16, Summerville Parish will be celebrating Pastor & First Lady Anniversary/ Appreciation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Lawrence Chapel will be this year”s host church. Rev. Ken Griffin, former pastor of Summerville Parish, will be the speaker.
Dinner will be served immediately following service at Kuzzin’s Sports Bar on Hemlock Street in Summerville. The service will take place at New Hope UMC , located on 241 Martin Street in Summerville.
