Lyerly United Methodist Church will have a candlelight Christmas Eve service coming up on Friday, December 24th at 6 PM. Pastor Marshal Bryan and the congregation invite everyone to attend.
Beersheba Presbyterian Church will present a Christmas Cantata on December 19th in the 11 AM service and again during a candlelight service at 5 PM that evening. The service will also be streamed on Facebook. Everyone is invited to attend.
Once again this year, you can take the short trip to Alpine and be transported back in time to the first Christmas in Bethlehem. The live nativity includes Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, shepherds and plenty of live-animals. Goats, sheep, cows and even camels can be seen at the live nativity. There is no charge for the live nativity. Alpine Church members say it a free gift to the community at Christmastime. This year, the live nativity will be held Thursday, December 23rd – Saturday, December 25th.

Horizon Baptist Fellowship will present the Christmas musical “Christmas All Year Long” on Sunday, December 12, at 4:00 PM. This encouraging musical shares the message of hope and promise found in the story of our Savior’s birth, and it leads us to the question “Why can’t it be Christmas all year long?” The church’s handbell choir will present several selections at the opening of the service. Pastor John Paul Harris and the congregation invite everyone to attend. The church is located at 1216 Highway 114 in Summerville, across from Chattooga High School.
