The Trion Heights Baptist Church will present their drive-thru nativity titled “The Light of Christmas” free of charge to the community December the 1st through the 25th. The nativity will be presented each night from 6-8 pm. Trion Heights Baptist Church is located at 301 Rossville Boulevard in Trion.
Menlo First Baptist Church is inviting the community to Christmas in the Park on December 7 from 4–7 p.m. at Lawrence Park in Menlo. Families can enjoy food, inflatables, crafts, music, and photos with Santa. The Menlo Elementary Choir and Chattooga County Choir will perform to help bring in the Christmas spirit. The event is free and open to everyone.

Pastor John Mann and the congregation of West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church are honored to be the hands and feet of Jesus this Thanksgiving season. If you or someone you know is in need of a Thanksgiving meal that can be prepared at home, we invite you to our community distribution this Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
We will be distributing 171 meal boxes, and each box is designed to feed a family of four. Limit one box per vehicle.
Distribution will be in a drive-thru manner and will take place at the Chattooga County Tag Office, located at 120 Cox Street, Summerville, Georgia, 30747. The line will begin at the Tag Office and continue up West Washington Street. Volunteers will be on-site ahead of time to assist with traffic flow and lineup.
