Pastor John Mann and Congregation at West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church invites Everyone to attend our Saturday Night Singing with Michael Knight and the Redeemed. Service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at 7 PM.

Waterville Baptist Church will be set up at 18149 Hwy 27 during the Hwy 27 Longest Yard sale on August 2nd & 3rd from 8 am to 6 pm. Grill-N-Chill will be selling their award-winning BBQ pork. BBQ plates with baked beans and coleslaw and a bun will be $8.00. BBQ sandwiches for $4 each.  You can also purchase pulled pork for $10 a pound.  Several yard sale tents will also be set up.  Ms. Reita Thomas will be selling her award winning pies and ice cream! Mr. Wayne Howell will be selling ribbon fries and boiled peanuts. There will be several yard sale tents set up. On Saturday there will be Scentsy and snow cones. The proceeds from the BBQ Plates will go toward the church’s building fund.  The proceeds from drinks, snowcones,  and snacks will go to the church’s youth group. There is sure to be something for all ages!

Pennville Church located at Greenhill Memory Garden Road will be having homecoming this Sunday, August 4 beginning at 10:30. Charlie Long will be singing. A covered dish lunch will follow the service. Everyone is invited to attend

Homecoming at South Summerville Baptist Church Sunday August 4th. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m.  Former pastor Rev, David Craven will bring the message with
Jordan Shores doing the special music. Fellowship meal to follow.

We will have pony rides, miniature train rides, and Knocker-ball for the kids this year at our Lyerly United Methodist 11th Annual Car, Truck, Motorcycle Show and Craft Festival on Saturday, August 10th from 8:00 – 3:00. Rain or shine at Dowdy Park on the corner of Hwys 27 and 114 in Summerville, GA. Hope you come out!

Trophies will be given out for Best of Show, Ladies Choice, Best Engine, Top Truck, Pastor’s Choice, Longest Distance, Best Motorcycle, Rat Rod, Top 20, Best Paint, People’s Choice, Most Club Participation, and 50 dash plaques for the first 50 cars!

Vehicle registration is $20 per vehicle. Vehicle registration is from 8:-12 noon. Awards will be given out at 3 p.m.

Vendor booth rental is $20 for a 15’x15′ area. You will need to provide your own tent, tables, and chairs.

There are 100 electrical outlets throughout the park. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED. There is water available in some areas.

Joseph Crowe will be playing music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s for your enjoyment. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, a cake walk, door prizes, and playground equipment for the kids to play

on.
