There will be a “Celebration of Praise” honoring Rev. Dr. Willie Womble Saturday, February 23rd at 3 PM at the Lowell Green Community Center at 301 Web Wheeler Road in LaFayette. Pricilla Womble invites everyone to come celebrate the event and the Annual Black History Program.

Trion United Methodist church will have their Brunswick Stew available Saturday, February 2. It is still $7.00 per quart. The stew should be ready around 10:30 a.m. You may pick the stew up in the fellowship hall before 1:00 p.m. We usually sell out so the stew is sold on a first come first served basis.
