The Congregation at West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church would like to invite everyone to the Celebration of Life for our beloved Pastor John Mann on Sunday, January 18th. This special service will begin at 10:50 AM with special guest singers Michael Knight and the Redeemed. Brother Hunter Cox will be ministering the word. We will continue on in the evening at 6:00 PM with our special singers and Sister Angie Knight ministering the word. Please join us as we remember the life and ministry of Pastor John Mann! The Chapel Hill Full Gospel Church on Butler Dairy Road has cancelled their  singing that was scheduled for this Saturday January 24th.

Pentecostal Power Ministries is once again doing Immanuel’s Table (winter soup kitchen) to help families in need on January 17th.  Doors will be open from 11am until 2pm in their fellowship hall, Hayes Fellowship Center.  They will be serving hot soups & sandwiches and your choice of cornbread or crackers.

An ecumenical service honoring Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr will be held on Sunday January 18th at Harmony Baptist Church in Summerville at 3:00 PM. Pastor Melvin Mosley and Reverend Robert Barret will be hosting the service along with the Community Choir. Dinner will be served begin at 2:00 PM.

On Monday, January 19th, a day of service will be held at Fairway Recreation Center, 81 Senior Drive, Summerville, beginning at 10 AM with Felicia’s Kids. Everyone is currently invited to come and join us with these joyful events.  For more information contact Myrtis Evans at 706-857-1608.

Pennville First Baptist Church at 77 Moore Street, Summerville will be hosting the OLD TIME PREACHERS MEETING on Tuesday, January 6, starting at 10 AM. There will be preachers from several states attending, different preachers will be called from the floor to bring a message. Great singing. Break for lunch around 12:00 . Regathering for the afternoon services. Everyone is invited. These meetings have been going on for quite a few years, this meeting will be the first one to be in this area. Bro. Terry Colbert , Pastor invites all churches to come be a part of spreading God’s Word.

Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion invites you to their Christmas Play, “The Greatest Gift – a Nativity Story” this Sunday evening at 6 PM.  The church is located at 14074 Highway 27 in Trion, behind Dixie Subs.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
