The Chattooga County Beekeepers will be holding a seminar for those interested in learning more about bees and beekeeping. Deadline for registration for the class is fast approaching.
Local residents are being invited to the Chattooga County Library in Summerville on Saturday, January 12th at 10 AM for a “Tea and Seed Swap.” The event is being hosted by the library for local residents to bring seeds to swap with one another and to donate to the Chattooga County “Seed Library.” The library is asking that people bring a pot of your favorite tea and seeds to share along with your favorite mug.
The Chattooga County Republican Party will meet on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at 6:30 p m at the Senior Center in Summerville. All members and interested citizens are welcome and invited to attend.

The Chattooga County Library System will offering its weekly Pre-School Story-time.
As always, it will be on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Summerville branch.
Numerous studies have shown the benefits that being read to at a young age offers children later in life, including higher IQ, more emotional intelligence, and higher socioeconomic status.
All pre-schoolers are invited to the event, and must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have ever thought about becoming a beekeeper, you can have a chance to learn more about the hobby in a class that is coming up, presented by the Chattooga County Beekeepers.
