Neighborhood Watch Being Formed In Mountain View Community

Members of the Mountain View Community in Chattooga County are forming a Neighborhood Watch.  There will be a Neighborhood Watch community meeting coming up this Thursday, October 4th at 5:30 PM.  The meeting will be held at the Mountain View Baptist Church fellowship hall which is the building behind the church.  All of the Mountain View Community is invited to attend.

Menlo City Council Coming Up this Week

Menlo’s regularly scheduled City council will be be held later this week. It will be Tuesday evening at 7 PM, held in city hall.

“Senior Citizens Fishing Rodeo” at Sloppy Floyd Park

As a ‘Thank You” for the support of senior citizens, the Friends of Sloppy Floyd State Park will host a Fishing Rodeo today (September 29) from 9-1. It will be a day of food, prizes, and family fun.
