The Chattooga County Library will have a book and DVD sale $1 dollar or less for Friend’s of the Library club members only on Thursday September 5th from 10 to 8 , it cost $5 dollars to join the club , on Friday and Saturday from 10 to 5 the sale will be open to everyone.

The Chattooga County Republican Party’s September Meeting will be rescheduled due to the first Monday falling on Labor Day holiday. The meeting has been rescheduled for the second Tuesday of the month, September 10th at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Chattooga County Senior Center 184 Senior Dr. Summerville , Georgia 30747. The regular meeting day and time will resume in October. All are invited to attend.
The Chattooga High School Chorus and Show Choir will be hosting a car show and block party coming up in October.
The Second Annual Clint Young Memorial Golf Tournament has been scheduled for next month at the Trion Golf Course. The event will benefit Santa in Uniform.
