American Masters – Charley Pride: I’m Just Me is streaming free again for a limited time on pbs.org/americanmasters and on the PBS Video app which will run through December 26 before going back to members-only PBS Passport. Charley Pride: I’m Just Me is also set to air on Canada’s CBC on New Years Day, Friday, January 1, 2021, at 11 am ET / 10 am CT. The documentary is also now available on DVD at charleypride.com.

Country music power couple T.G. Sheppard and Kelly Lang will release a brand-new holiday single on November 13 titled, “Christmas in Mexico.” The duet is a sweet and romantic trip to sandy beaches and warm sunny days, buoyed by the sounds of mariachi trumpets and steel drums. An accompanying music video premiered exclusively on Music Crowns earlier today, featuring footage of the duo in the studio recording the song. “Christmas in Mexico” marks the first release from T.G. Travis Tritt is set to perform the National Anthem for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:49 p.m. EST. The Crew-1 mission will launch NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker, along with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) mission specialist Soichi Noguchi, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Pre-launch coverage, including Tritt’s performance of the Star-Spangled Banner, filmed from his home in Georgia, will air live on SpaceX’s website, NASA Television and the agency’s website, as well as numerous other platforms.

Billy Joe Shaver, the outlaw country music pioneer who wrote some of the genre’s greatest songs, died Wednesday in Waco, Texas, after suffering a stroke. He was 81. Connie Nelson, a friend of Shaver’s, confirmed his death to Rolling Stone.
