An Armuchee man was arrested Sunday at his residence on Herring Road and charged with a serious felony. Weyman Darrell Garmany Jr., 60, is facing one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes. According to Floyd County Jail records, the arrest stems from an alleged incident involving a juvenile female. Garmany is accused of writing a letter to the girl offering her $50 in exchange for allowing him to commit an indecent act upon her. The charge of enticing a child for indecent purposes is a felony offense under Georgia law. Adding to his legal troubles, Garmany is currently being held without bond due to a probation violation. Garmany was booked into the Floyd County Jail.
Michael Lance Brown, 36, of Cloudland, Georgia, was arrested Tuesday on a multitude of felony charges related to the production and distribution of child pornography, illegal video recordings, and unlawful eavesdropping.
