A thirty-three-year-old Douglasville, Georgia man was arrested on Monday of last week in Chattooga County after leading a Georgia State Trooper on a highspeed chase on Highway 27.

According to a report released Wednesday by the Summerville Police Department, an employee at the Circle K on the Lyerly Highway found a bag of crystal meth last Friday while cleaning the store. The report stated that the employee called 911 when the baggie containing the suspected drugs was found while the employee was sweeping the floor by a cooler inside the store. When police arrived, they took the baggie of suspected drugs and it tested positive as being methamphetamine. A review of video surveillance footage by police and store personnel failed to identify a possible suspect.
