Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says that there are a lot of questions about 2023 property tax bills for Chattooga County property owners. The tax commissioner has put together a quick FAQ list to help tax payers:
International Charity Fraud Awareness Week (“ICFAW”) brings together charities across the world and the agencies that regulate them in a collaborative social media campaign to raise awareness of issues surrounding charity fraud, cybercrime and best practices. The Chattooga County 4H Breakfast with Santa is coming up this Saturday. The event will be taking place at the Chattooga County Ag Building and tickets are $10 each. No tickets will be sold at the door, but Chattooga County Extension Agent Rebecca Thomas told WZQZ News that there are still between 50-60 tickets left. Tickets can be purchased at the 4H office and at Chattooga County Farm Bureau. Unlike previous years, there will be only on seating this year instead of two. The event will take place at 10 AM.
