Friday Night Football Tonight on WZQZ!

Week 4 of the 2025 high school football season kicks off tonight.  In what has been a familiar scene this season, both of our local schools will be on the road tonight.

Chattooga had a bye week last week and will travel to Mount Zion in search of their first victory of the year after starting out 0-2. Mount Zion is off to a strong 3-0 start this year with wins over Chattahoochee County, Ranburne, AL and a 20-6 win last week over Bethlehem Christian.

Meanwhile Trion will travel to Model tonight to take on the Blue Devils.  Trion is 1-2 on the season after a 41-20 loss last week to Temple.  Model started the season off 0-2 with losses to Sonoraville and Cass but notched their first win of the season last week on the road at Coosa 44-30.

Both Trion and Chattooga games will be broadcast live on the WZQZ Facebook page.  The Chattooga vs Mount Zion game will be the radio game tonight and will also be carried live on 99.1 FM and AM 1180.  Join Chris “Bubba” Wilson and Steiner Davis as they will  broadcast live from Mt Zion while Paul Cavin and Jeremy Burke will the call the action for Trion at Model.  Kickoff for both games will be at 7:30 pm.
