Starlink, the satellite internet service operated by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, has come to the aid of citizens affected by Hurricane Helene by distributing hundreds of free satellite devices and offering complimentary internet service.
The Chattooga County Friends of the Library book sale will be taking place Thursday, October 17th – Saturday, October 19th. Hardback books and DVD’s will be $2 each and paperback books will be $1 each. Thursday book sale times will be from 10 AM – 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM. On Saturday, books will be half-price and the sale will take place from 10 AM – 2 PM.
