She was born on July 2, 1950 to the late Lumas Hudgins and Rosa Mae Adams McDaniel, stepfather, Oliver McDaniel. She retired from General Motors for over twenty-seven years. She was preceded by her grandfather, Thad Adams, grandmother, Hastie Adams, sister, Eloise Rounsaville, brothers, Frederick McDaniel, and Gary Hudgins, and special friend, Harold Cooper. Glenda was a member of Pond Spring A. M. E. Church.
