MR. ANTHONY (TONY) SMITH, SR., age 72, of McGraw Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, in Rome, Georgia, surrounded by his loving Family.
MRS. CARRIE MAE BLACK YOUNG – Age 74, – Of Summerville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 19, 2018 with her family at her bedside. She was born on February 8, 1944 to the late Samuel Black, Sr. and Nannie R. Long Black. Carrie graduated from A.C. Carter High School, was a life member of West Fifth Street Church Of Christ. For many years she was employed with Fairway Recreational Center, retired after thirty years at Chattooga Parent Child Center, retired from Chattooga Transit Service, and she is the widow of Bobby Ray Young.
Rev. James Robert Patterson, age 84, of LaFayette, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Mr. Preston “Pete” Hampton, age 72, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
MR. RODNEY “PETE” HILL – Age 51, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. He was a member of Baptist faith and a Truck Driver for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca E. Wooten Hill; children, Josha Cox, Quantas Robertson, William G. Walker, Jr., Brandon (Tara) Hill, Adaiane Diedre Adams, and Jessica Walker; mother, Annie Wilcox; father, Willie Frank Waters; sister, Debbie Hill; brothers, Kenny (Jennifer) Hill, Willoie Hill; brothers-in-law, Gregory (Regana) Hayes, Grayling (Teidra) Shropshire, Horace (Audrey) Wooten, Jr.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Services for Mr. Rodney “Pete” Hill will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southview Mortuary, Inc., 2731 Highway 41 South, Tifton, Georgia 31794.
