Mr. John Wade, Jr. – age 83, Of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the residence. John Wade, Jr. was born in Chattooga, County to the late John Wade Sr. and Fonnie Perry Wade on August 20, 1933 and received his education at Oak Hill School and graduated from Chattooga County Training School in Holland, Georgia and later enlisting in the United States Army four years.
Mrs. Doris G. Ford, age 78 of Trion, Georgia passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Demarcus Mashawn Etchison, age 41 of Summerville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly November 26, 2018 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Little Miss Gwendolyn Marie McCann, 5 month old daughter of Jasmine McCann and Anthony Lewis passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Floyd Medical Center. She was born in Rome, Georgia on June 17, 2018.
Mr. John Henry Perry, age 79, of Silver Creek, Georgia and formerly Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, November 26, 2018. He retired from Inland Container Company after thirty nine years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ligon Perry and Allie Knowles Perry, sisters, Georgia Ann Stewart, Louise Bush, Madeline Jett Brooks, and brothers, Richard Perry, Allen Hudgins.
Sarah Ann Gentry, age 81 of Summerville, GA passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
James Earl Meredith (Jim), 88, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday night at Redmond Regional Medical Center with his family at his side. A native of Greenville, Mississippi, he graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineer and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master’s in Business Administration.
Mrs. Mattie Louise Palmer Bruce, age 83, of LaFayette went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
