MRS. ZOLA MOORE JOHNSON- Age 84, Of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 with the love of her family around her. She was born December 9, 1937 in Gaylesville, Alabama. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Johnny Johnson, Sr. and Fleedie Moore Johnson, son, Edwin Johnson, sisters, Sybil Stallings, Edith Reese, Laura Terhune, Lola Evans, Edna Moten, Sue Moore and brothers, Felix Moore and Johnny Moore, Jr.
MR. BENJAMIN DANIEL “DANNY” WESTBROOKS, I, age 73, of Elberton, Georgia, formerly of Chattooga County, Georgia, passed away Tuesday evening in an Atlanta nursing home. He was born in Trion, Georgia to the late Leroy and Angeline Romine Westbrooks on June 25, 1948. Mr. Westbrooks was retired auto mechanic for Chrysler.
MR. WILEY THOMAS (TJ) HENDERSON, JR., age 84, of Tinney Road, Trion, Georgia passed away Friday evening, March 4, 2022, at his residence. A native of Trion, Georgia, He was born to the late Wiley Thomas Henderson, Sr. and Margie R. Westbrooks Henderson on July 16, 1937. Mr. Henderson was an auto dealer, owned and operated TJ’s Used Cars, was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving in the Korean War, and was preceded in death by his wife, the late Patsy Louise Tinney Henderson and son, the late Stephen Salerno.
Mr. Roger Christopher “Chris” Bingham, age 47 of Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday morning at a Rome Hospital following a traffic incident.
MR. LEWIS LEE TIMMONS, age 70, of Jenkins Gap Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2022, at his residence. A native of Chattooga County, Georgia, Mr. Timmons was born to the late Thomas Lee and Aquilla Allene Rash Timmons; he was self employed in the construction industry.
MR. WILLIAM CALVIN MARTIN, SR. – Age 77, of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 with his family at his bedside.
MR. SAMMY VICTOR HAMBY, SR., age 73, of Dowdy Drive, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Sunday in a LaFayette health care. A native of Trion, Georgia, Sammy was born to the late Frank and Hattie Forshee Hamby on June 29, 1948. He was retired from the construction industry and was preceded in death by wife, Ruth Matney Hamby.
