Mr. Bobby Milton Housch, age 87 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Housch was born in Summerville, Georgia on March 30, 1929, son of the late Milton Andrew Jackson Housch and Vesta Senada Justice Housch.  He was a member of the Trion Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army.  Mr. Housch enjoyed  gardening and farming, and was retired from the Packing Department of Mt.

Vernon Mills.  Mr. Housch was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy J. Housch.

Mr. Housch is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Donald Smith and Martha and Emory “Bo” Gilmer; sister-in-law, Wyndoleen Housch; nephews, Andy Housch and George Smith; nieces, Peggy Luke, Sandy Mallicoat, Susan Copeland and Lejean Messer; and a number of great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Housch will be held Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Mitchell and Rev. David Autry officiating.  Interment will follow in the family plot of the Pennville Cemetery with Rev. Art Graves officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Messer, D.J. Messer, Josh Messer, Lee Copeland, Justin Mallicoat, Cody Childress, Greg Luke and Mike Stover.  Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Summerville High School Class of 1947.

Mr. Housch will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

MINISTER ALLIE ROCHELL PERRY BUTLER – Age 60, of Rome, Georgia passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at a local hospital. She was employed by Kelloggs Industries, was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, and was a graduate of East Rome High School and Cossa Valley Tech.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Walter Butler; son, Boyd Butler of Rome, Georgia; mother, Dorothy Ann Perry of Summerville, Georgia; brothers, Marcus (Sharronda) Thompson of Summerville, Julius W. Foster, Gary Foster, and Ducan Foster of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunts, Susie Shropshire, Lillie Sneed, Gerdine Hughes, and Maggie Akers; uncles, John Henry Perry and Thomas Jett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Pastor George Beavers and other ministers officiating. MR. ROBERT LAWRENCE PARKER– Age 53, of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Abe Parker, two brothers, Carl Parker and Wendell Parker, two aunts, and three uncles.

He is survived by his mother, Rosie Irene Parker; daughter, Catiyln Covington of Summerville, Georgia; sisters, Melissa (Tommy) Hughes of North Carolina and Jacqueline Powell; brothers, James (Stacy) Parker, Victor Parker, and Nevil Parker, all of Summerville, Georgia; one aunt, Ernestine Parker of Rome, Georgia; uncles, Bobby Parker of Menlo, Georgia, Louis Croft, and Joseph Croft of Collinsville, Alabama; nieces, Karen Powell and Kennisha Hudson, nephews,  Carlous Parker, Terrence Parker, Jonathan Hughes, and Thomas Hughes; special friend, Debbie Perry; a host of  other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Betty Jean Talley, age 71, of Summerville, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Talley was born in Lafayette, Georgia on April 26, 1945, daughter of Juanita Rogers Reeves and the late Merdie Henry Reeves. Mrs. Talley was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, and prior to retirement, was employed in the Card Room at Mt. Vernon Mills for 40 years.  She was a member of the Quarter Century Club, loved to read and was an avid animal lover.  Mrs. Talley was preceded in death by her father, Merdie Henry Reeves on January 29, 2016.

Mrs. Talley is survived by her sons, Jeff DeBerry, and Kelly Ray; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Wayne Crowe and April and Tracy Trammell; grandchildren, Justin and Khrista Crowe, Haley Lloyd, Colt Trammell. Tyler DeBerry and Chance DeBerry; great grandchildren, T.J. Crowe, Neiko Crowe and Tucker Crowe; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Talley will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Pettit Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens.

Ms. Lillie Jordan, age 79, of Summerville, GA, died Friday, July 15, 2016, at the residence of her daughter, Diane Woodall.

Ms. Jordan was born May 30, 1937, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Isaac and Ethel Boyd Jordan.  She was a member of the Beersheba Presbyterian Church and the Reading Buddies in Menlo, GA.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Galey and Lord.

Ms. Jordan is survived by her daughter, Diane Woodall; brother, Wayne Keith; sister, Kathryn Chitwood; grandchildren, Jamye and Kandy Dawson, Jason and Shanna Dawson, Josh and Candy Dawson; great-grandchildren, Ryan Dawson, Abby Dawson, Bella Dawson, Ava Dawson, Jenna Dawson, and Jake Dawson.

Memorial services for Ms. Jordan will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Thomas Quarles officiating.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Mason Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday.
