A large fire broke out at Discount Lumber in Cherokee County this past Friday morning.

According to the Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency, fire crews were called just after 7 AM Central Time on reports of a fire at the facility located on Cedar Bluff Road between Centre and Cedar Cedar Bluff.

Crews from Centre, Cedar Bluff, Leesburg and Spring Creek Fire Departments arrived to find large flames and heavy smoke coming from Discount Lumber. Right now, the cause of the fire is unknown.

The building suffered extensive damage, but no injuries were reported, according to the Cherokee County EMA.

There were no injuries reported.
