A 69 year-old Cedar Bluff man, Robert Marlin Shad, has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child under the age of 12. According to reports he has been indicted by a grand jury for rape in the first degree and sexual abuse in the 2nd degree. He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center earlier this week with a $150,000 bond.
