A twenty-one-year-old Cedartown man was arrested by Summerville Police on Thursday of this week after he was found to be under the influence and walking on Commerce Street.

Police first made contact with Trevor Eugene Wagner near Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.  Wagner then fled from police and went to Hanmonds Auto Parts.  While speaking with the man at the parts store, the could tell that he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Wagner once again ran from police and went to Bryant & Sons Lumber Company.  Police made contact again with Wagner at Bryant & Sons and told him that he was in no condition to be walking up and down the street.

While officers attempted to get Wagner in the back seat of the patrol car, he pushed an officer and tried to flee the scene again.  Wagner was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
