Enjoy a long time family affair and one of the best fireworks shows in northwest Georgia coming up June 30th! The City of Summerville’s Celebrate Independence is a  free community event will be held at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center. Traditional attractions include food vendors, water slides, sack races, free watermelon slices, corn hole tournament, and concerts. New this year, activities for the entire family and a “Kid’s Zone” and also a Best Patriotic Dressed Contest for Adult & Youth. This year’s free concerts will feature local favorite Chip Rowland as the opening act for the APB 1st Generation Band. Bring lawn chairs, or blankets to enjoy this free community event celebrating our country’s freedom.
