Charges have been filed in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in the Shannon area in Floyd County back on September 14.
According to the arrest warrant:
37-year-old Benjamin John Godfrey of Rome was driving a Chevy Colorado on Shannon Road when he failed to yield to a motorcycle traveling on Highway 53.
The motorcycle struck the pickup truck, claiming the life of Bradley Marc Sharpe of Cave Spring.
Godfrey is charged with misdemeanor counts of 2nd-degree homicide by vehicle and a stop sign violation.
