If you are looking for some family-friendly fun this holiday weekend, the Chattanooga Aquarium is inviting you some time  to relax and connect with loved ones inside the two air-conditioned Aquarium buildings.

If it’s been a while since your last visit, be sure to see the newly reopened Butterfly Garden, take in the baby turtle nursery and see animal sculptures made from plastic debris by the Washed Ashore project.

Experience the epic journeys of three amazing bird families – the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler and the Mallard Duck – in Wings over Water,  with extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviors. Presented locally by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

While in downtown Chattanooga this holiday weekend, be sure to visit the newly renovated Creative Discovery Museum and learn about real-life heroes a the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center (right on the Aquarium plaza).
