Chattooga County added three more COVID deaths from Thursday to Friday, according to the latest numbers from the Chattooga County Health Department.

That brings the number over 100 for Chattooga County.  The total as of Friday was at 102 deaths being reported for the county.

Floyd County reported six more deaths in the same time period. Floyd County is now at 257 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Statewide, there were 157 confirmed deaths reported Thursday for a total of 21,865.

Georgia has now passed 1.2 million COVID-19 cases since February of last year.

3,508 of those cases were reported from Wednesday to Thursday.
