Chattooga County residents and those in our surrounding counties of Floyd, Gordon, Walker, Dade, and De Kalb and Cherokee Alabama, are invited to show off their skills in the Blue Ribbon Department at the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair.  The fair gets started this Thursday and will run through Sunday. 

There are up to 5 divisions including Youth, Open, Professional and Golden Age, depending on the category selected.  

Entries for Blue Ribbon start today with arts, photography, needlework and food preservation.  You can enter these items today from 2 PM until 6 PM and again on Tuesday from 9 AM until 1 PM at the Chattooga County Ag Building on Middle School Drive in Summerville.

Monday, August 23

Receiving 2:00pm – 6:00pm for the following categories: Arts, Photography, Needlework, Food Preservation

Tuesday, August 24

Receiving 9:00am-1:00pm for the following categories: Arts, Photography, Needlework, Food Preservation

Wednesday, August 25

Judging 9:00am-12:00pm for Arts, Photography and Neeedlework

Receiving 1:00pm-6:00pm for the following categories: Horticulture, Agriculture, Honey

Judging 6:00pm for Honey

Thursday, August 26

Receiving 8:00am-10:00am for the following categories: Horticulture same day blooms ONLY

Judging 10:30am-1:00pm for Horticulture, Agriculture, and Food Preservation

Doors will be closed to the public during judging

Monday, August 30

Pick up 10:00am-6:00pm
