The number of hospitalized COVID patients has risen in Chattooga County, according to numbers released on Monday. Deaths have remained at about the same level.
Right now, an average of five new COVID-19 cases are being reported daily in Chattooga County. That’s about the same average as two weeks ago, but is considered high. Since the beginning of the pandemic, one-in-eight Chattooga County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The total cases as of Monday were 3,041.
