Rain is returning to the area.

With rainfall amounts of as much as three to four inches expected across many portions of northwest Georgia between now and Thursday morning, a Flood Watch has been issued for those areas; in addition there could be some isolated thunderstorms.

The heavy rainfall could again cause areas of flooding, once again affecting local roadways.
