Northwest Georgia is in the "eye of the storm" for tonight.  Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson says that he hopes residents are taking heed to the weather forecast and preparing for significant storms.

Dr. Greg Forbes with the Weather Channel has upgraded Northwest Georgia to an "8" on the TorCon forecast.  That means that there is an 8 in 10 chance, or 80%, that there will be a tornado within 50 miles of Chattooga County.
