The Chattooga County Head Start/Pre-K Program is currently taking applications for the 2015/2016 School Year.

Head Start and Early Head Start is an income-based program that serves pregnant moms and children up to five years of age.
Services to families include:
FREE child care and FREE breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks.
Diapers, pull-ups and formula are also included for enrolled students.
There is a qualified teaching staff and parent-involvement activities.
Special consideration is given to children who are disabled or homeless.
Families interested in applying will be asked to supply the following items:
A copy of the child’s birth certificate
Proof of income for 2015 (or past 12 months)
TANF or SSI information (if receiving)
Shot Record (form 3231)
Social Security Numbers for all family members living in the home
Insurance Information on the child (Medicaid, Peach Care or private insurance)
Social Security Card (Pre-K only)
Form 3300 (Pre-K only)
Proof of Residency (Pre-K only)
