The Chattooga County Historical Society will be meeting this Sunday at 2 PM.for the spring meeting of the Chattooga County Historical Society. The program will feature an up date on the maintenance and restoration efforts underway by the City of Summerville and the Friends of the Summerville Cemetery. The highlight of the program will be a “virtual walkthrough” of the cemetery to visit around a dozen of the historical characters who rest there. This will include visits with some preachers, teachers, librarians, doctors, lawyers, trailblazing women, the poor and the well to do. Also those who attend will find out how many souls rest the in the Cleghorn  mausoleum and in the entire cemetery .
