
Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been 69 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 8,333.
The Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health said on Wednesday that current cases of COVID-19 in Chattooga County are decreasing, but across the Northwest Georgia Region, coronavirus cases are on the increase.
Chattooga County is still considered a county with “High Transmission Indicators”, according to the data released yesterday.
The Department of Public Health says Chattooga County has had 1,042 cases, 30 deaths, and 74 hospitalizations due to the coronavirus.
