Chattooga County residents must pay property taxes by the close of business on Friday.

Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Kathy Brown wants to let residents to know that they can contact her with any questions regarding their property taxes.  

Tax Commissioner Brown has been hospitalized  with a leg injury, but says residents can go by the tax office with any questions and her staff will contact her and she will get back with any taxpayer that needs her assistance.  

The tax office is located on West Washington Street in Summerville and accepts cash checks and credit cards for tax payments.
