The Chattooga County Toys for Tots program has announced registration dates for families needing assistance with Christmas gifts for their children this holiday season.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program will hold three registration sessions at the Summerville Recreation Center on Bolling Road in Summerville.
Registration will be held on Saturday, October 31, Saturday, November 14, and Saturday, November 21, from 9 AM until 11 AM each day.
Families seeking assistance must register children who live in their household and for whom they have legal custody.
Program organizers also ask families who are already receiving Christmas toy assistance from another agency not to register for Toys for Tots. This helps ensure that holiday assistance reaches as many families in need as possible.
The final deadline to register for Christmas toys is December 4, 2026.
Toys for Tots is a nationwide charitable program operated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Its mission is to collect and distribute toys to children whose families might otherwise struggle to provide Christmas gifts.
The program relies on community donations and volunteers to help make Christmas brighter for children in need.
Families with questions about registration or eligibility may contact Christie William, Chattooga County Toys for Tots Coordinator, at 706-859-1140.
