Chattooga County is upgrading Emergency Notification by adding weather warnings to the Hyper-Reach mass notification system.  The new weather warning went into place on January 1st.

Hyper-Reach sends messages via automated telephone calls, text messaging, email and social media during emergency situations.

The County plans to use the service primarily for alerts about weather and environmental hazards, criminal activity and missing persons.  Residents and people who work in Chattooga County are encouraged to enroll now by calling or texting “Alert” to 706 230-5114.
