At this year’s Sum-Nelly event, students from Chattooga County’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program will showcase their skills using a new Careers on Wheels trailer. This trailer, funded by grants from the Georgia Chamber Foundation and the Tillotson-Menlo Charitable Foundation, acts as a mobile classroom and marketplace. It aims to highlight student talents, promote CTAE pathways, and encourage community involvement in the workforce.

During the event, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) will sell products made by students, including handmade items, agricultural goods, baked treats, and marketing materials. Visitors will have the chance to buy unique products while learning more about the CTAE programs in Chattooga County Schools.

This opportunity helps students gain real-world experience in sales, customer service, and marketing while raising funds for their programs. Community members are invited to meet the students, support their efforts, and discover various career opportunities. The initiative aims to connect students with the community, emphasizing the importance of CTAE education and inspiring future generations.
