Chattooga County DFCS will been extending the days their lobby is open and extending the hours. 

Starting October 1^st the lobby will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Starting November 1^st, the lobby will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Appointments can be made, if needed, for the days our lobby is closed.  Gateway.GA.gov can be accessed 24 hours a day online to apply for benefits, renew cases and check on your benefits.  The local phone number is 706-857-0817.
