On November 12, 2015 two males and a female were arrested by Chattooga County Sheriffs Office drug agents along with an agent from the LMJC drug task force, Summerville Police Department and State Parole officers. The arrest came after an investigation into an illegal drug distribution operation. The bust yielded approximately 10 ounces of "ice" , a common form of methamphetamine, several grams of powder form cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and illegal prescription medication. When sold at "street level" the illegal drugs that were seized have a value in excess of $30,000.00. Approximately $4,000.00 cash and a vehicle were seized by law enforcement as a result of the investigation. Those that were arrested on an array of charges including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of over a ounce of marijuana and several other charges were:
