Two Chattooga Indians football players were recently recognized by the Rome News Tribune for their efforts on the gridiorn for the 2010 season. Chattooga Junior Nathan Schuster earned a spot on  the All Area Team. The RNT states,

"Schuster was the unquestioned leader of the Indians offense at quarterback. He led the team in touchdowns, had five games of more than 100 yards rushing and accounted for more than 500 yards combined rushing and passing against Gordon Central."  Chattooga Senior Ethan Herod gained Honorable Mention for his outstanding efforts on the field.
