Chattooga High School football fans are being asked to adjust their calendars. The Senior Night game against  Dade County has been officially moved, shifting from its original slot on Friday, October 24, to Thursday, October 23, 2025.

The decision to move the game stems from a critical, system-wide shortage of high school athletic officials, specifically referees available to cover the traditional Friday night schedules across the region.

The shift ensures that the game can proceed with the necessary certified officiating crew. Kickoff is now scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday evening.

Senior Recognition Moves Up

The schedule change necessitates an earlier start time for the traditional Senior Night festivities, which are a major highlight for the community. The on-field recognition ceremony honoring the graduating football players, cheerleaders, band members, and other senior participants will now begin promptly at 6:20 PM.

Coaches and school administrators are urging fans to arrive early to ensure they do not miss the recognition ceremony before the 7:00 PM kickoff.

The game against Dade County remains a significant region matchup, holding crucial implications for the team’s playoff push.
