Head Start and Early Head Start is an income-based program that serves pregnant moms and children up to 5 years old. Services to families include: free child care, free breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks, diapers, pull-ups, and formula. Chattooga Head Start has qualified teaching staff and parent involvement activities. Special consideration is given to children who are disabled or homeless.

 

Families interested in applying will be asked to supply the following items:

 

A copy of the child's birth certificate

Proof of income for 2014

TANF or SSI information (If receiving)

Shot record (Form 3231)

Social Security for all family members in household

Insurance information for child
