The Chattooga County Historical Society announced on Thursday that the 2021 Historical Society Christmas Ornament is now available for purchase.

This will be the fourth in a series of annual Christmas ornaments from the historical society.  Each of the ornaments celebrates historic places in the county.  This years ornament features one of the oldest churches, and one of the most historic places in Chattooga County.  The ornament has the historic Alpine Church on one side of the ornament and brief history of the church on the opposite side.

The ornament may be purchased online at www.chattoogahistory.org/store or locally at DIRT in Summerville and Sweet Pea’s at the Tavern in Trion.
