
The Chattooga County Historical Society will hold their quarterly meeting coming up tomorrow, Sunday, July 10th at the Historic Summerville Depot in downtown Summerville.
The speaker for this month’s meeting will be Greg Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt has been working on restoring the old Chevrolet dealership building in Summerville and plans to open a Corvette museum in the near future. Wyatt has been in the classic automobile business since 1980 and specializes in vintage Corvettes. According to the historical society, ” Greg Wyatt will be speaking on his new Corvette Museum. The 50’s in Chattooga County will be the topic for a group of people who remember it well.”
The meeting is free and open to all with an interest in Chattooga County’s history. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is encouraged to join the historical society and they are always looking for new members to help promote and preserve our history.
