Hot off the heels of an exhilarating victory over Fannin County last week, the Chattooga Indians faced a starkly different outcome on the road last night, suffering a decisive 38-0 shutout loss to the Christian Heritage Lions.

The Lions offense proved relentless throughout the contest, finding multiple ways to reach the end zone. Christian Heritage showcased a potent passing game, connecting for three touchdowns through the air to build a commanding lead.

Despite valiant efforts from the Chattooga squad to spark a comeback, their offense was unable to find its rhythm against a tenacious Lions defense. The Indians struggled to gain traction and were ultimately unable to put any points on the scoreboard.

The loss brings Chattooga’s overall season record to 2 wins and 5 losses. In regional play, the defeat leaves them with a 2-2 standing.

The Chattooga Indians will now enter a much-needed bye week before returning to action. Their next game is scheduled for October 24th at home in the Little Big Horn, where they will face Dade County.
