The Chattooga Indians picked up a big win on the road tonight, downing the Armuchee Indians 36-10. The Indians of Armuchee had a lead of 7-0 at halftime, but the Indians of Chattooga stormed back to take the win. The defense played stout all night, and the offense started clicking after the half. The Chattooga Indians also proved to be opportunistic, taking advantage of two big turnovers in the second half.

Chattooga will travel to Coosa next week to take on the Eagles. The game will be broadcast on AM 1180 radio and can also be followed live on the web at www.chattoogainfo.com

Trion traveled to Mt. Zion tonight and came up on the wrong end of an overtime game. Mt. Zion lead early, but the Dawgs fought back to tie the game up. Having nothing decided after regulation, the game headed to overtime. Mt. Zion scored on their possession and hit the extra point to take the score to 14-7. Trion managed to get the ball in the endzone with their possession, taking the score to 14-13. Trion called a timeout to talk over the point after and decided to go for two. The Dawgs were stopped short, even though it looked as though the ball broke the plain of the endzone. Final score, Mt. Zion 14, Trion 13.

Trion will be at home to take on SW Atlanta Christian. The game will be streamed live from Sam R. McCain stadium on www.chattoogainfo.com
